Role Description The Tekla Modeler and Detailer will work on-site in Haripad in a full-time capacity, creating detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings for structural steel projects using Tekla Structures. Daily responsibilities include interpreting design drawings and specifications, modeling connections and assemblies, and preparing shop and erection drawings that meet project and code requirements. The role involves coordinating with engineers and project managers to clarify technical details, resolving modeling issues, and updating models based on design changes or review comments. The Tekla Modeler and Detailer will also check drawings for accuracy, maintain organized project documentation, and support smooth communication with fabrication and site teams.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Tekla Structures, including 3D modeling of structural steel components and connections.
Experience in structural steel detailing, including preparation of shop drawings, erection drawings, and bill of materials.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural engineering drawings, specifications, and relevant codes or standards.
Attention to detail with strong checking, revision control, and quality assurance skills for drawings and models.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams.
Good time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Diploma or degree in civil engineering or related field; specialized training in steel detailing or Tekla is an advantage.
Prior experience in a steel detailing or engineering office environment; familiarity with international steel standards is a plus.
