Role Description The Regional Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in West Bengal, India. This role oversees business operations across the assigned region, including managing branches or units, monitoring performance against targets, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations. The Regional Manager will lead and develop regional teams, provide coaching, and support recruitment and training efforts. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing sales and operational reports, implementing growth strategies, managing budgets, and optimizing processes to improve service quality and profitability. The role also involves building strong relationships with key customers, partners, and local stakeholders, addressing escalated issues, and collaborating with senior leadership to plan and execute regional initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in team supervision, performance management, and talent development.
Proven experience in regional or multi-site operations management, including planning, execution, and process optimization.
Solid business acumen with the ability to interpret financial, sales, and operational data to drive decisions and regional strategy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Ability to work on-site across locations in West Bengal, with flexibility to travel within the region as required.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant professional certification is an advantage.
Prior experience in a similar regional leadership role, preferably within a diversified or multi-business group.
