Content Voice & Distribution Strategist (Part-Time, Contract)

About the role
You will be the content quality guardian for SUMMR Creative. Everything we publish on social for our clients and founder goes through you first. You are the reason content goes out on brand, on every platform, and the reason next month's content is smarter than this month's.
We create a lot of content quickly across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and Substack. That speed only works if someone catches voice issues, cuts the ideas that will not land, and carries forward the formats that performed. You report to the CEO.
What you will own
The quality gate: you give final review on every piece of copy before it goes live, and off-brand, run-on, or generic content does not get published on your watch.
Voice: you match founder and client voices exactly as captured, and repurposing across platforms means changing the format, never the voice.
Cross-platform repurposing: you adapt what is built for Instagram across platforms, and you flag ideas strong enough to develop into monetizable offers.
Weekly feedback loop: you run one short data review that looks at what performed and why, whether it was the narrative, the visual hook, the caption, or the verbal hook, and you report what to cut and what to carry forward.
Shoot direction: after an initial shadow period, you will run monthly client shoots on your own, directing the shot list and coaching clients so they sound like themselves instead of presenting.
What you will not own
Content ideation, creation, editing and scheduling for clients, since you are the gate and not the source.
Inventing anyone's opinions or voice from scratch.
Who you are
You understand what builds real, monetizable creator influence, beyond aesthetics and surface-level engagement.
You are a strong writer with real experience crafting social hooks and narratives, and you know what stops a scroll and what gets skipped.
You are fluent across platforms and can explain why an Instagram caption and a LinkedIn post should read differently.
You have taste, meaning you can tell raw and real from sloppy, polished from over-curated, and meaningful from preachy.
You are comfortable reading performance data and drawing conclusions that change what you do next.
You are confident enough to kill a weak idea and say so directly, including to me.
Bonus: you have grown accounts and can show the results.
Details
This is a part-time contract role with daily touchpoints, roughly 10 hours a week. The first 90 days are a working trial with a scope review at the end. Working in person with me in San Diego is a real plus, and remote works with occasional on-sites.
