VERIQTA is building a modern technology education platform designed to help engineers develop practical, production-ready skills through structured learning, hands-on practice, real-world engineering projects, certification preparation, assessments, and interactive learning experiences.
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join us in building a secure, scalable, high-performance EdTech platform.
This role is ideal for an engineer who can work across the full application stack, take ownership of complex technical problems, make sound architectural decisions, and contribute to building a platform designed for long-term growth.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications.
• Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance interfaces using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Develop secure backend services, APIs, and application integrations.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases using Supabase.
• Build authentication, authorization, role-based access control, and secure user-management systems.
• Develop learning experiences including courses, learner dashboards, progress tracking, assessments, and learning paths.
• Build certification preparation and exam-simulation functionality, including question banks, timed assessments, scoring, explanations, attempt history, and performance analytics.
• Develop administrative and instructor functionality for managing users, content, assessments, and platform operations.
• Integrate payment, subscription, and entitlement systems.
• Integrate AWS, GitHub, and other third-party services where required.
• Contribute to interactive engineering labs, cloud environments, and practical learning experiences.
• Establish and maintain automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and reliable deployment workflows.
• Identify and resolve performance, security, reliability, and scalability issues.
• Review code and contribute to strong engineering standards and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with the product and engineering team to make sound technical and architectural decisions.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• 5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
• Strong backend development experience with Node.js, NestJS, or comparable technologies.
• Strong PostgreSQL and relational database design skills.
• Experience working with Supabase or comparable backend platforms.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, application security, and secure data-access patterns.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, Docker, and CI/CD workflows.
• Working knowledge of AWS and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and payment systems.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, testing, performance optimization, scalability, and maintainability.
• Experience deploying and supporting production applications.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, take technical ownership, and communicate effectively in a remote team.
NICE TO HAVE
• Experience building EdTech, LMS, SaaS, or assessment platforms.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Linux, and containerized environments.
• Experience building online examination or certification systems.
• Experience with interactive coding environments, browser-based terminals, or cloud sandbox infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Redis, caching, queues, background jobs, and event-driven systems.
• Experience with observability and infrastructure as code.
• Experience mentoring developers or leading technical projects.
