Elite Card Processing is hiring a seasoned Senior Merchant Services Agent Recruiter to expand our nationwide network of experienced independent sales agents, payment professionals, and ISO partners.
This is not an entry-level recruiting position or a general human-resources role. The successful candidate will already understand the merchant-services industry, have established relationships within the payments community, and be able to document a history of recruiting agents who became productive.

What You’ll Do
• Recruit, qualify, and onboard experienced independent merchant-services agents and ISO partners across the United States.
• Own the recruiting process from initial outreach through agreement, onboarding, and the agent’s first activated merchant accounts.
• Build long-term relationships with payment professionals through direct outreach, referrals, social media, industry groups, and events.
• Present Elite Card Processing’s agent program clearly, including residual structures, technology, merchant solutions, reporting, training, and hands-on support.
• Work closely with leadership, operations, underwriting, and support teams to create a professional onboarding experience.
• Maintain an organized recruiting pipeline and report meaningful performance metrics, including qualified conversations, onboarded agents, productive agents, activated merchant accounts, and retention.
• Protect confidential information and conduct all recruiting ethically and in compliance with applicable agreements and legal obligations.
Required Experience
• At least 3 years of successful experience recruiting independent agents, ISOs, or payment professionals within merchant services or payment processing.
• A documented record of recruiting agents who produced active merchant accounts—not simply collecting signed agreements.
• An established professional network within merchant services, payments, acquiring, fintech, or related channels.
• Working knowledge of residuals, agent splits, merchant pricing, underwriting, boarding, payment technology, and agent-support expectations.
• Strong relationship-building, prospecting, interviewing, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
• The ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining accurate activity and production reporting.
• Professional references who can verify industry experience and results.
Preferred Background
• Previous success as an agent recruiter, relationship manager, ISO channel manager, or merchant-services sales leader.
• Experience recruiting and supporting a nationwide network of independent 1099 sales agents.
• Experience working with established ISOs, processors, sponsor banks, gateways, point-of-sale providers, or acquiring platforms.
How Success Will Be Measured
Success will be based on the quality, activity, and retention of recruited agents. Performance will be measured by productive agents, activated merchant accounts, portfolio quality, and long-term relationships—not signed recruiting agreements alone.
Compensation
• Base salary: $85,000–$100,000 per year, based on verified experience and results.
• Uncapped performance compensation tied to productive agents and activated merchant accounts.
• Target total annual earnings: approximately $130,000–$160,000 at target performance, with additional upside for exceptional results.
