Position Overview
The Vice President of Project Management is responsible for the company's overall project management strategy, organizational structure, process management, and the execution of strategic projects. The role encompasses establishing project management systems, project planning and coordination, schedule and quality management, cross-departmental collaboration, team building, resource allocation, enhancing execution efficiency, and managing international projects.
The VP ensures the efficient and orderly progression of various projects, continuously optimizes management processes and execution mechanisms, improves delivery efficiency and cost control, enhances overall business performance, and strengthens the company's project management capabilities and competitiveness in the global jewelry market.
Core Responsibilities
Project Strategy and Management
Formulate and implement the company's medium- to long-term project management strategies and plans;
Establish and continuously optimize the company-wide project management system and policies;
Translate strategic objectives into concrete project plans, implementation schemes, and execution tasks;
Optimize project organizational structure, management functions, and operational models;
Ensure the efficient and orderly advancement of projects in accordance with established goals, plans, and management standards.
Project Process and Execution Efficiency Management
Develop implementation plans for domestic and international projects; identify opportunities to optimize processes and improve execution efficiency;
Establish and maintain efficient, standardized project management processes and execution mechanisms;
Optimize workflows, cross-departmental collaboration procedures, and task delivery mechanisms;
Analyze project schedules, business requirements, resource utilization, and potential risks to identify areas for improvement;
Continuously enhance execution efficiency, process implementation quality, and the level of collaboration across business departments.
Project Team and Organizational Management
Establish and refine the project team management system, talent development mechanisms, and professional capability building plans;
Oversee the recruitment, management, training, and performance development of the project management team;
Establish efficient cross-departmental collaboration mechanisms and internal management policies;
Optimize the division of responsibilities, workflow handovers, and resource coordination mechanisms among departments;
Implement effective incentive schemes and performance management systems for project teams;
Lead the project management team in driving the implementation of the company's project management strategy, key projects, and major business initiatives. Project Performance and Cost Management
Establish project objectives, performance indicators, and a project performance management system;
Formulate annual, quarterly, and monthly project plans, schedule targets, and milestone delivery goals;
Analyze project schedule data, cost data, resource allocation, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);
Optimize project staffing, budgets, execution workflows, and regional resource allocation;
Enhance project execution efficiency, resource utilization, on-time delivery rates, and cost control capabilities;
Drive continuous improvement in project management standards, cost-effectiveness, and overall execution capabilities.
Cross-functional Collaboration and Business Support
Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, product, procurement, supply chain, production, customer service, finance, and other departments;
Establish efficient cross-functional project collaboration workflows and communication mechanisms;
Ensure project objectives and execution plans align with the company's overall business strategy;
Continuously optimize projects related to product development and delivery, supply chain coordination, production processes, and customer service based on business needs;
Drive the successful implementation of key projects, process improvement initiatives, and major business plans;
Provide project planning, coordination, and execution support for market entry, product launches, and international business expansion.
Project Risk and Compliance Management
Identify potential risks in project execution, internal processes, resource management, and cross-functional collaboration;
Establish mechanisms for risk monitoring, early warning, emergency response, and risk mitigation;
Ensure project planning, implementation, and delivery comply with relevant laws, regulations, industry standards, and corporate management requirements;
Strengthen project management, process control, documentation, and execution oversight;
Standardize project approval workflows, change management procedures, and departmental project execution protocols;
Ensure the continuous, stable, and compliant progression of company projects and the achievement of expected business objectives. Qualifications
18–20 years of work experience in project management, project operations, project process management, or related fields;
Over 8 years of experience in senior management roles at the Director level or above;
Experience in project management, organizational leadership, and the coordination of major projects within large enterprises or multinational corporations;
Bachelor’s degree or higher; majors in Business Administration, Project Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or related fields are preferred;
Experience in international project management, global project coordination, or cross-border business project management is preferred;
Extensive experience in cross-departmental management, project process optimization, and organizational project management;
Outstanding capabilities in project strategic planning, project coordination, process optimization, team leadership, and execution;
Excellent skills in data analysis, business judgment, resource allocation, and project decision-making;
Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, communication, and cross-departmental collaboration skills.
