Company Description
AMRI is an emerging research-driven technology company focused on developing next-generation materials, sustainable fuels, and industrial technologies.
Our ambition is to translate fundamental scientific research into commercially relevant technologies that can reshape industries. We are building our founding scientific team and are looking for researchers who want to move beyond conventional laboratory roles and help create new technologies from the ground up.
Role Description :
Senior Research Scientist with expertise in catalysis, chemical engineering, or reaction engineering to lead our initial research initiatives.
This is an opportunity to help establish a new industrial R&D program, with significant scientific ownership and the freedom to explore promising technological pathways.
Develop and evaluate catalysts for chemical conversion processes, including light-olefin conversion and sustainable fuel pathways.
Design and execute laboratory experiments, including catalyst synthesis, characterization, and performance evaluation.
Work with laboratory and research partners to develop experimental capabilities.
Investigate reaction mechanisms, process efficiency, and opportunities for industrial scale-up.
Translate experimental findings into research milestones, technical documentation, and potential intellectual property.
Help build AMRI's scientific capabilities and future research team.
Qualifications :
PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Catalysis, or a closely related field; exceptional master's graduates with relevant industrial R&D experience are welcome.
Approximately 3–8 years of relevant research experience, including doctoral research where applicable.
Hands-on experience in heterogeneous catalysis, reaction engineering, or chemical process development.
Familiarity with catalyst characterization, reactor experimentation, and analytical techniques.
An experimental, independent mindset and an interest in translating scientific research into industrial applications.
Strong foundation in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific problem-solving, with the ability to independently lead complex research projects.
Proficiency in laboratory techniques relevant to the role (e.g., analytical methods, synthetic or formulation techniques, instrumentation operation and maintenance, as applicable to the specific research area).
Experience preparing technical documentation, including study protocols, reports, presentations, and publications, with clear and concise scientific communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and meet project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
You'll have the opportunity to become part of AMRI's founding scientific team, shape its initial research direction, work on commercially relevant scientific problems, and help build a research organization from its earliest stages.
