Role Description The Vice President of Products is a part-time, remote leadership role responsible for defining and driving the product vision and strategy across SKYAN Energy Solutions’ portfolio. This role oversees end-to-end product management, including market analysis, product roadmap development, prioritization of features, and lifecycle management for offerings such as solar EPC, EV charging, and battery energy storage solutions. The Vice President of Products will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, operations, and marketing, to align product initiatives with business goals and customer needs. Day-to-day work includes reviewing product performance metrics, guiding product development efforts, optimizing the product portfolio, and ensuring solutions remain competitive, scalable, and aligned with sustainability objectives. The role also involves engaging with key customers and partners to gather feedback, identify emerging opportunities, and support go-to-market and commercialization activities.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Product Strategy and Product Management skills to define vision, build roadmaps, and manage the product portfolio.
Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret market data, customer insights, and product performance metrics for evidence-based decisions.
Candidates should possess Product Development experience to guide solution design, feature prioritization, and iterative improvements.
Candidates should possess Cross-functional Team Leadership capabilities to collaborate effectively with engineering, sales, marketing, operations, and external partners.
Relevant experience in energy, renewable energy, or technology-driven infrastructure solutions is highly beneficial.
Proven track record in senior product leadership roles, preferably at the director or VP level, is preferred.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills are required.
Graduate degree in business, engineering, or a related field is advantageous; equivalent experience will be considered.
