Hiring: Social Media Manager – Content, Strategy & Execution
Arya Medical College & Hospital | Jaipur, Rajasthan
Location: Jaipur | Employment Type: Full-time, On-site
Experience: 1–2 years preferred
About the Role
Arya Medical College & Hospital (AMCH), a unit of APAR Charitable Trust for Education & Research, is looking for a creative, proactive, and organised Social Media Manager to manage our end-to-end social media operations.
The role involves developing content strategies, generating local content ideas, shooting videos, coordinating with the video editor, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring timely publishing in line with the hospital’s marketing strategy.
We need someone who takes ownership from idea to execution and publication.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Strategy & Calendar
Develop and maintain monthly and weekly content calendars aligned with the hospital’s marketing objectives.
Plan content around festivals, local events, healthcare awareness days, hospital activities, and seasonal health needs.
Generate relevant content ideas for local audiences across Jaipur and surrounding areas.
Ensure all content is planned, approved, and published according to schedule.
2. Content Ideation & Shooting
Develop engaging ideas for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, doctor interviews, healthcare awareness, and hospital campaigns.
Personally shoot videos using a good-quality smartphone whenever required.
Understand framing, lighting, composition, camera angles, and audio quality.
Coordinate with doctors and hospital staff to record content and capture on-ground activities.
Organise and share usable footage with the video editor.
3. Video Editor & Production Management
Brief the video editor on concepts, references, deliverables, and deadlines.
Track editing progress and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
Review videos for quality, storytelling, subtitles, branding, and platform suitability.
Coordinate revisions and ensure all content is ready before its scheduled publishing date.
4. Publishing & Execution
Manage publishing across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and other relevant platforms.
Coordinate captions, hooks, thumbnails, hashtags, and other publishing requirements.
Ensure timely execution of festival campaigns, announcements, and hospital activities—for example, planning and publishing Navratri content within the relevant dates.
Ensure that ideas translate into actual published content, not just plans.
5. Brand Alignment & Quality Control
Ensure every post aligns with the hospital’s brand positioning, marketing strategy, and communication guidelines.
Maintain consistent standards for content quality, messaging, and visual presentation.
Coordinate medical and administrative approvals wherever required.
Ensure patient privacy, appropriate consent, and responsible healthcare communication.
6. Local Marketing & Performance
Identify local trends, community initiatives, and collaboration opportunities.
Develop content that builds awareness of the hospital, its doctors, facilities, and services.
Track reach, views, engagement, and other relevant performance metrics.
Report on published content, pending deliverables, and campaign performance, and recommend improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing preferred.
Ability to shoot good-quality videos using a smartphone is mandatory.
Understanding of short-form video formats, framing, lighting, and audio.
Strong creative thinking and content ideation skills.
Excellent coordination, planning, and deadline-management abilities.
Good written communication skills in Hindi and English.
Familiarity with Instagram, YouTube, Meta Business Suite, content calendars, and social media analytics.
Ability to coordinate confidently with doctors, staff, video editors, and management.
A proactive, detail-oriented, and execution-focused approach.
Healthcare marketing experience and a portfolio of reels or social media campaigns will be an advantage.
Professional video editing is not mandatory. A dedicated video editor will handle primary editing; this role owns the shooting, coordination, review, and publishing workflow.
What Success Looks Like
A consistently maintained content calendar with minimal missed deadlines.
Timely shooting, editing, approvals, and publishing.
A steady pipeline of creative, locally relevant content.
Consistent brand alignment and quality across all posts.
Improved content performance and local awareness of the hospital.
