Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Experience designing and building scalable backend services and RESTful APIs
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control (Git)
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities

SUMMARY
NorthBridge Solutions is a fast-growing tech startup seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our fully remote engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, enjoys solving complex technical problems, and wants to make a direct impact on the product and the company's growth. You will report to the Engineering Lead and work closely with cross-functional teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Software Development
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
- Develop front-end components and integrate with backend systems as needed.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code with strong test coverage.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Architecture & Infrastructure
- Contribute to system architecture decisions and technical design.
- Deploy and maintain applications on cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Monitor system performance and resolve production issues.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver features on time.
- Mentor junior engineers and help raise the technical bar across the team.
- Contribute to engineering best practices, documentation, and process improvements.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
