About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Vice President, Front-End Engineer, to join our Enterprise Transformation Organization based in Pittsburgh. This strategic role is pivotal in driving the development of innovative front-end applications that enhance user experience and operational efficiency. As a key member of our team, you will lead the creation and implementation of robust, scalable, and visually compelling digital interfaces that align with BNY’s strategic objectives. Your expertise will help shape the future of our digital transformation initiatives, ensuring that our platforms are not only functional but also intuitive and engaging for our diverse client base.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background and extensive professional experience. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, with advanced certifications in front-end development or relevant technologies considered a plus. Candidates should have between 5 to 9 years of hands-on experience in front-end development, demonstrating proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React or Angular. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset are essential. Prior experience mentoring junior developers and working within highly regulated environments will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of dynamic, user-centric front-end applications utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
