NOW HIRING: Pennsylvania-Certified Virtual Private Teacher
Position: Virtual Private Teacher – 5th Grade / 6th Grade Preparation
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: January–April 2027
Employment Type: Temporary / Contract
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and highly organized Pennsylvania-certified teacher to provide personalized virtual instruction to a 5th-grade student preparing to enter 6th grade.
The ideal candidate will have experience teaching upper elementary grades, delivering engaging online lessons, and preparing students for a successful transition into middle school.
Key Responsibilities
Provide structured virtual instruction in mathematics, English language arts, reading, writing, science, and social studies.
Develop individualized lesson plans aligned with appropriate academic standards.
Assess academic progress and identify areas requiring additional support.
Strengthen study habits, organizational skills, and independent learning.
Prepare the student academically for 6th grade.
Maintain consistent communication with the family and provide regular progress reports.
Create an engaging, positive, and supportive virtual learning environment.
Qualifications
Active Pennsylvania teaching certification required.
Certification covering 5th grade; experience with 6th-grade curriculum strongly preferred.
Previous elementary, middle school, or virtual teaching experience.
Strong understanding of Pennsylvania academic standards.
Experience with individualized instruction and curriculum development.
Proficiency in Zoom, Google Classroom, or similar educational platforms.
Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
Professional, dependable, patient, and discreet.
Availability January through April 2027.
