ETL Tester with Python Scripting

Job Requirements
We are looking for an experienced ETL Test Engineer with strong expertise in ETL testing, SQL, Python scripting, and test automation. The candidate will be responsible for validating data pipelines, data ingestion and transformation processes, ensuring data quality and integrity, and developing/maintaining automated test solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with modern data platforms and orchestration/ingestion tools such as Fivetran, Snowflake, and dbt, along with a good understanding of CI/CD practices. Experience working in a GxP-regulated environment. Key Responsibilities Perform ETL testing across data extraction, transformation, loading, and data validation processes. Develop and execute comprehensive ETL test scenarios and test cases covering data completeness, accuracy, consistency, integrity, and transformation logic. Perform complex SQL queries for source-to-target data validation and reconciliation. Develop and maintain Python scripts for data validation, test automation, and ETL testing activities. Contribute to and maintain test automation frameworks for data and ETL testing. Validate data pipelines and workflows involving data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration. Work with modern data technologies such as Fivetran, Snowflake, and dbt. Perform source-to-target validation, record count validation, data type validation, duplicate checks Support integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Participate in defect management, test reporting, and quality governance activities. Ensure testing activities comply with applicable GxP standards, Mandatory Skills 6–8 years of hands-on ETL Testing experience Strong knowledge of ETL concepts and data warehousing Strong SQL skills, including complex queries for data validation and reconciliation Strong Python scripting skills – Must Have Experience with test automation frameworks Hands-on or good working knowledge of Snowflake Knowledge of data ingestion/orchestration tools such as Fivetran and dbt Strong understanding of data validation and ETL testing scenarios Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Good analytical and problem-solving skills Python scripting is a mandatory skill for this position.
