About the Role
You'll own complex defence programmes end to end, from requirements through integration, test, acceptance and field deployment. You'll be the link between engineering, suppliers and customers, and you'll have the technical depth to challenge engineers when it matters.
What You'll Be Doing
Run robotics and autonomy programmes from concept through to deployment
Own scope, schedule, budget, risk and the critical path
Turn customer requirements into tracked, validated deliverables
Lead cross-functional teams across systems, software, AI/ML, hardware and test
Drive change control, configuration management and V&V through to customer acceptance
Manage suppliers and subcontractors, and lead reviews with customers and executives
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Engineering, Computer Science or related technical degree
7+ years in technical project or programme management in defence, aerospace, robotics or complex engineering
Delivered integrated hardware and software systems through test and acceptance
Strong grasp of systems engineering, requirements management and change control
Confident with customers, suppliers and senior stakeholders
Desirable:
UGV, UAS, autonomous platform or C4ISR delivery
Military or government procurement and qualification
AS9100 / ISO 9001, export control and security requirements
PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent
