Programme Manager/ Centre Leader - Waimauku, Kumeu

We are recruiting for a Centre Leader to lead & manager our sKids Kingsway site. This role offers up to a minimum of 15 contracted hours per week (Monday to Friday only, no weekends work required!). We also run the programme during school holidays and you'll have the opportunity to gain more hours during our holiday programmes!
Working Hours (Monday to Friday):
Before School Care: 7:00am – 8:30am
After School Care: 2:30pm – 6:00pm (availability from 2:30pm is essential)
School Holiday Programme hours available (between 7am - 6pm)
About the Role
No two days are the same at sKids! You’ll be part of a team creating a safe, fun, and engaging space where children can thrive.
You will:
Deliver and support a variety of activities including arts & crafts, sports, games, cooking, and creative play
Supervise and engage with children, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and enjoyment
Use positive behaviour guidance to support children with different needs
Build strong relationships with parents, caregivers, and school staff
Support or lead the day-to-day running of the programme ensuring smooth operations from set-up through to pack-down
Guide and support team members to deliver a high-quality programme

We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and caring individuals who enjoy working with children.
You’ll bring:
The legal right to work in New Zealand
Reliable transport to our 2 new sites within Kumeu. Ideal candidates would need to be located around Kumue for ease of transportation.
A positive, energetic, and can-do attitude
Experience in childcare, education, coaching, camps, or similar
Leadership or supervisory experience (for Programme Manager and Assistant Programme Manager roles)
Confidence working with groups of children
