Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. is seeking an experienced finance leader to oversee strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and firm-wide financial operations. The Managing Director, Finance will partner closely with executive leadership and practice leaders to support long-term growth, improve financial performance, and strengthen financial controls across the organization.

The Managing Director, Finance will oversee strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and firm-wide financial operations, partnering closely with executive leadership and practice leaders to support long-term growth, improve financial performance, and strengthen financial controls across the organization.
Responsibilities
Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
Oversee firm-wide financial operations and financial performance.
Develop and monitor key financial and operational metrics.
Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning and business decisions.
Provide financial analysis supporting growth initiatives, investments, and resource allocation.
Oversee cash flow planning, profitability analysis, and financial controls.
Improve financial processes, reporting systems, and operational efficiency.
Support practice leaders with budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
Coordinate with accounting, billing, operations, and administrative teams.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Identify financial risks and recommend appropriate controls and corrective actions.
Lead and develop senior finance and accounting professionals.
Qualifications
10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
5+ years in a director, managing director, vice president, or comparable senior finance role.
Strong background in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial operations.
Experience working with professional services, legal services, consulting, or other service-based organizations preferred.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, profitability analysis, and financial controls.
Demonstrated ability to partner with executive leadership.
Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field required.
MBA, CPA, or other relevant advanced credential preferred.
Required Skills
Progressive finance leadership experience.
Experience in senior finance roles such as director, managing director, or vice president.
Financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial operations expertise.
Knowledge of financial reporting, profitability analysis, and financial controls.
Ability to partner effectively with executive leadership.
Analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience working with professional services, legal services, consulting, or other service-based organizations.
MBA, CPA, or other relevant advanced credential.
