About VietBuddy
VietBuddy is a language learning app designed to help people learn Vietnamese through realistic voices, everyday vocabulary, and the way Vietnamese is actually spoken.
Instead of focusing on overly academic lessons or robotic-sounding content, VietBuddy is built around practical, natural Vietnamese that learners can actually use in real-life situations.
We’re currently looking for US-based UGC creators to help us produce short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and paid social campaigns.
The Role
You’ll create short, authentic UGC-style videos promoting VietBuddy.
We’re not looking for highly polished commercials. We want content that feels natural, relatable, and native to TikTok and Instagram, the kind of video someone would actually stop scrolling to watch.
Content includes:
Talking-to-camera videos
Short scripted or semi-scripted ads
POV-style videos
Hooks around learning Vietnamese
Reactions and relatable language-learning situations
We’ll provide concepts, hooks, and general direction when needed, while still giving you room to make the content feel natural in your own style.
What We’re Looking For
You may be a good fit if you:
Are based in the United States
Are comfortable speaking on camera
Understand TikTok, Instagram Reels, and short-form content
Can create natural, energetic, and engaging videos
Have good lighting and decent video/audio quality
Can follow a creative brief while still making the content feel authentic
Experience with UGC is a plus, but not required.
Interest in Vietnamese culture, Vietnam, travel, languages, or language learning is also a plus.
Compensation
Starting rate: $100 for 10 short-form videos
There is potential for ongoing paid work if the collaboration performs well.
