Role Description The Founder role is a full-time, on-site position based in South Delhi. The Founder will define the mission’s vision, values, and long-term strategy, and translate them into actionable plans and programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading organizational planning, overseeing program development, coordinating outreach activities, and building relationships with community leaders, partners, donors, and volunteers. The role involves setting up operational structures, managing budgets and resources, and ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements. The Founder will also guide communications, represent the mission in public forums, and cultivate a culture of integrity, inclusivity, and accountability within the organization.
Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership and strategic planning skills, with the ability to set vision and drive execution in a mission-oriented organization.
Experience in community development, social impact, or nonprofit management, including program design, implementation, and evaluation.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with capacity to collaborate with diverse communities, partners, and donors.
Proven capability in organizational operations, including budgeting, resource management, governance, and compliance.
Background in advocacy, public speaking, or representation in social, cultural, or community forums is highly beneficial.
Ability to work on-site in South Delhi, maintain a high level of initiative, and adapt to evolving organizational needs.
Relevant academic qualifications in social sciences, public administration, management, or a related field are preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered.
Commitment to the values of equality, social justice, and the principles associated with Sant Ravidas, with sensitivity to diverse social and cultural contexts.
