Volunteer Opportunity: After School All Stars Cleveland at Glenville & Horizon Science Academy High Schools - Fairfax & Gunning Recreation Centers
After School All Stars (ASAS) Cleveland provides free after-school programming that helps students build academic skills, explore new interests, and grow into confident leaders. We're looking for dependable, enthusiastic volunteers to support our programs.
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:00–6:00 PM at High School Locations & 4:00-6:00 PM at Recreation Centers (we welcome volunteers who can commit to one or more days per week)
What You'll Do
Assist staff with homework help and academic support
Help with group projects
Serve as a positive role model and mentor for students
Support program setup, transitions, and daily operations
What We're Looking For
Reliability and a genuine interest in working with students 1st thru 12th grade
Patience, flexibility, and strong communication skills
Ability to pass a background check (required for all volunteers)
Not required, but a background in education, youth development, tutoring, or a special skill to share (sports, arts, tech, career experience) is a plus.
