Role Description This full-time remote Back End Developer role focuses on building and maintaining robust server-side applications and services for web and mobile solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing APIs, integrating databases and external systems, optimizing system performance, and ensuring security and reliability. The Back End Developer collaborates with front-end developers, designers, and project managers to deliver scalable features, troubleshoot technical issues, and improve existing codebases. The role also involves writing clean, maintainable code, participating in code reviews, and contributing to technical documentation and architectural decisions.
Qualifications
Strong Back-End Web Development skills, including experience with server-side frameworks, RESTful APIs, and database integration.
Solid Software Development skills, with the ability to design, implement, test, and maintain scalable applications.
Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and patterns to build modular, reusable, and maintainable code.
Foundational Front-End Development and Programming skills to collaborate effectively with front-end teams and understand end-to-end application behavior.
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, version control systems (e.g., Git), and modern development workflows.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with security best practices, performance optimization, and testing strategies for back-end services.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
