Social Media Marketing Intern

Unpaid Internship, Fully Remote
Electro makes functional electrolyte gum designed for athletes who need performance, focus, and recovery without added sugar. Our network includes a large base of college athlete ambassadors and partnerships with NBA and NFL players.
This is an unpaid internship. The intern will support our NIL athlete and social media program by identifying college athletes, conducting outreach, and helping onboard new partners.
Details: remote, flexible hours, unpaid internship in NIL and sports marketing.
About You:
- Ability to commit a few hours each day on a flexible schedule.
- Knowledge of college sports, including major programs and conferences.
- Ability to manage a high volume of daily communication.
- Active on Instagram with an understanding of athlete content and audiences.
- Comfortable initiating professional conversations with new contacts.
- Familiarity with Instagram messaging and basic CRM tools.
Responsibilities:
- Identify strong athlete content for potential use on Electro's channels.
- Respond to athlete messages daily with accuracy, speed, and professionalism.
- Build strong athlete relationships through clear and supportive communication.
- Coordinate with the founding team on athlete program updates.
- Support NIL agreements from initial outreach to signed partnership.
- Assist with planning NIL campaigns around key dates in the college sports calendar.
- Support the onboarding of new athlete partners.
