Role Description The Senior Regional Finance Director is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing financial performance and strategic planning for a defined region. This role will lead regional budgeting and forecasting cycles, monitor financial results, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership. The director will review and interpret financial statements, manage financial reporting processes, and ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant regulations. Day-to-day activities include analyzing regional revenue and cost drivers, supporting commercial decision-making, partnering with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement in financial processes and systems. The role also involves mentoring finance team members, collaborating with global finance leadership, and contributing to long-term regional growth strategies.
Qualifications
Strong Finance foundation with experience in corporate or regional finance leadership roles.
Proficiency in Financial Planning and budgeting, including forecasting, scenario modeling, and resource allocation.
Hands-on experience with Financial Statements, including preparation, review, and interpretation of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
Expertise in Financial Reporting, including management reports, KPI dashboards, and presentations for senior stakeholders.
Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations and support strategic decisions.
Experience working in or with technology, fintech, or crypto-related businesses is highly beneficial.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across regions and functions.
Proficiency in modern financial tools and ERP systems; advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA, CFA) are a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, international environment, demonstrating autonomy, integrity, and sound judgment.
