Role Description The Vice President of Product Operations is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing end-to-end product operational performance and execution. This role leads cross-functional teams to streamline product delivery, optimize processes, and ensure alignment between product strategy, operations, and customer needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing product-related programs and initiatives, creating and refining operational frameworks, setting performance metrics, and monitoring product health and adoption. The individual will collaborate closely with Product Management, Project Management, Technology, and Business stakeholders to prioritize initiatives, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement. The role also involves mentoring teams, establishing best practices, and ensuring regulatory and quality standards are maintained across all product operations activities.
Qualifications
Strong Product Operations experience, including designing and improving processes, workflows, and governance models.
Product Management skills, with the ability to translate strategy into operational plans and manage product lifecycles.
Program Management and Project Management expertise to oversee complex, multi-team initiatives and deliver on time and within scope.
Advanced Analytical Skills for data-driven decision-making, performance measurement, and operational optimization.
Proven leadership experience managing remote, cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at senior levels.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Background in financial services, consumer services, or related regulated industries is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.
