Supervisor - Facility Management

Responsible for operating, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient warehouse operations.
•Operate Automated Storage and Retrievable System (ASRS) equipment, including automated cranes, conveyors and control systems, to perform material handling at ASRS.
•Follow maintenance schedules and perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on ASRS machineries.
•Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for operating ASRS equipment including recovery, shut down and start up procedures, machine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
•Monitor system operation through Warehouse Control System (WCS), Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Human Monitoring Interface (HMI). Respond promptly to machine alarm, error messages or abnormal conditions.
•Perform routine check, visual inspection to identify signs of mechanical wear and tear, electrical issues. Record and report anomalies to engineer/manager.
•Collaborate with warehouse or inventory control personnel to prioritize workload, optimize storage space utilization and fulfill order with timely manner.
•Adhere to safety regulation and company policy by wearing personnel protective equipment (PPE), following safe practices and participating in safety training programs.
•Perform maintenance, repair or troubleshooting on the equipment and coordinating downtime as needed.
•Communicate effectively with members, and other departments to coordinate workflow, resolve issues and ensure smooth operations of ASRS.
•Responsible to replace other absent team members if needed.
Authority:
• Authorized to manually reject abnormal pallet condition from entering ASRS racking.
• Authorized to disallow unauthorized personnel for entering ASRS area.
• Authorized to receive goods or spare parts upon delivery arrival.
