Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architect role based in Bengaluru. We are looking for a skilled and driven Architect to join our architectural practice in Bangalore. The role is ideal for professionals with at least 3-4 years of experience in the design of independent residences, villas (contemporary and classical styles), commercial, and retail projects. Proficiency in interior design will be considered a strong advantage, as the role may involve supporting interior architecture and detailing in parallel with core architectural responsibilities. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with other designers, engineers, and contractors; preparing presentations and design documentation; and supporting site supervision to ensure design intent is upheld during execution. The role also involves participating in client meetings, gathering design inputs, managing timelines for assigned work, and contributing to project reviews and quality checks.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B. Arch) from a recognized institution.
Minimum 3-4 years of hands-on experience in architectural projects, with a strong portfolio showcasing villas, independent homes, commercial spaces, and retail environments.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp; working knowledge of Revit, Lumion, or V-Ray preferred.
Strong understanding of construction detailing, facade design, and materials, especially for luxury residential typologies.
Good knowledge of interior planning, furniture layouts, and interior detailing.
Familiarity with building codes, submission processes, and Bangalore’s approval systems.
Excellent communication, organizational, and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in conceptualization, design development, and preparation of working drawings for residential (villas and independent homes), commercial, and retail projects.
Develop 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and visualization software such as Photoshop, Lumion, or V-Ray.
Translate client briefs into architectural and spatial design solutions, particularly for classical and contemporary residential styles.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary consultants (MEP, structural, landscape) and coordinate their inputs into the architectural design.
Conduct site visits for inspection, coordination, and ensuring adherence to design and quality standards.
Support in the preparation of interior layouts, mood boards, material palettes, and joinery details when needed.
Engage in communication with clients, vendors, and contractors throughout all project stages.
