Job Title: Piping Installation Engineer
Experience: 2–5 Years
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Description
We are looking for a Piping Installation Engineer responsible for supervising and coordinating piping installation activities at project sites, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, quality standards, and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise piping installation, erection, alignment, and fit-up activities.
Read and interpret piping isometric drawings, P&IDs, and general arrangement drawings.
Coordinate with welding, fabrication, mechanical, and civil teams.
Ensure piping installation meets project specifications and quality standards.
Monitor material availability, installation progress, and site activities.
Coordinate pressure testing, flushing, and inspection activities.
Ensure compliance with HSE procedures and site safety requirements.
Prepare daily progress reports and maintain installation documentation.
Requirements
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience in piping installation, erection, or construction projects.
Knowledge of piping drawings, fittings, valves, and piping materials.
Ability to coordinate site teams and resolve installation issues.
Experience in EPC, Oil & Gas, industrial, or power projects is preferred.
