Software Engineering & Data Systems Intern

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
BenX is developing an integrated protective wearable platform for defence and aerospace
applications. Join our engineering team to contribute to design and development activities for a
production-intent demonstration unit.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
• Support design of the telemetry ingestion workflow and the command-center application.
• Build sample APIs, database models and dashboard features using simulated wearable-device data.
• Prototype alert views, location history, device-health status and offline-data replay.
• Write unit tests, API specifications and clear developer documentation.
SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• JavaScript / TypeScript, Python or C# and REST API fundamentals
• Familiarity with React / Angular and Node.js / .NET or similar frameworks
• Databases, Git, debugging and software-testing basics
YOUR EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS
Mock-data demos, API endpoints, dashboard components, automated tests and documentation.
WORKING APPROACH
Initial assignments focus on research, modelling, simulation, coding and documentation. No personal
purchase of development boards, sensors or other hardware is required. BenX engineers oversee
physical testing, safety validation and final technical approvals.
