Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Forklift Operator role based in Mumbai. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to load, unload, move, and stack materials within the facility. Daily tasks include supporting shipping and receiving activities, transferring goods to designated storage locations, preparing materials for packing, and ensuring accurate handling of inventory. The role involves following safety guidelines, maintaining equipment in good working condition, and coordinating with warehouse staff to meet operational timelines. The Forklift Operator will also assist in general material handling tasks to support smooth warehouse and logistics operations.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Forklift Operation and Material Handling, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Experience in Shipping & Receiving activities, including documentation and coordination with logistics teams.
Ability to perform Unloading and Packing tasks while maintaining quality standards and care of goods.
Basic knowledge of warehouse procedures and inventory handling.
Valid forklift operating certification or license, as required by local regulations.
Ability to work on-site in Mumbai and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving materials.
Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.
Prior experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment is beneficial.
