Volunteer Opportunity: Social Media and Website Officer

Company Description Dementia Association of Zimbabwe (DAZ) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness about dementia and supporting people living with dementia, their families, and caregivers across Zimbabwe. DAZ works to reduce stigma, promote early diagnosis, and improve access to information and community resources. The organization collaborates with health professionals, community groups, and advocacy partners to strengthen dementia care and education. As a growing association, DAZ relies on committed volunteers to expand its reach, improve communication, and connect with diverse communities locally and globally.
What you will be doing
• Manage DAZ's social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube)
• Create and post simple, engaging content, including photos and videos, about dementia
• Update the DAZ website with news, events, activities and useful information
• Grow our online audience, followers and engagement
• Drive traffic to our pages and website
• Promote DAZ events, awareness activities and campaigns
• Monitor performance and provide simple, regular reports
What we are looking for
• A qualification in Digital Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media, IT or a related field is an advantage
• Relevant experience and a strong portfolio will also be considered
• Good knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and website management
•Reliable internet access is a requirement
