We’re Hiring: Associate Advocate (3+ Years PQE)
Eagle Law & Integrity – Law Offices of Kanchan Talreja & Associates | Mumbai (New Marine Lines) – www.eaglelawandintegrity.com As we grow with new Clients, we are HIRING an experienced Associate to join our litigation team.
Who we’re looking for
• LL.B. and enrolment with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa (or eligible for transfer)
• At least 3 years of active litigation practice, preferably in Mumbai courts
• Strong drafting of plaints, petitions, applications, written statements, affidavits, replies and written submissions
• Ability to conduct matters independently, including interim applications, evidence and cross-examination
• Experience in at least two of our practice areas; Bombay High Court (Original or Appellate Side), Family Court or testamentary practice will be a strong advantage
• Sound research skills on SCC Online / Manupatra
• Excellent written and spoken English; working knowledge of Hindi, Marathi or Gujarati preferred
• Organized, punctual and able to manage multiple matters and deadlines
What the role involves
• Independently handling a portfolio of matters from drafting through final hearing
• Client conferences (including with NRI clients across time zones), case strategy, and briefing senior counsel where required
• Court attendance across Mumbai and, when required, in other districts
• Mentoring junior associates and reviewing their work
• Maintaining case records, diaries and client updates in line with the firm’s systems
