Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Ahmedabad. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for preparing and reviewing civil engineering designs and drawings, supporting structural and infrastructure planning, and coordinating with project managers and site teams to ensure accurate implementation. Daily tasks include conducting site visits and inspections, monitoring construction activities, checking material specifications, and ensuring work complies with relevant codes and safety regulations. The role also involves assisting with stormwater management and drainage solutions, preparing technical reports and documentation, and communicating with stakeholders to address design issues and project constraints. The Civil Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain project timelines, quality standards, and cost controls.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications.
Practical experience as a Civil Engineer, including involvement in planning and execution of infrastructure or building projects.
Knowledge of stormwater management, drainage design, and related hydrology or hydraulic considerations.
Proficiency with relevant civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, civil design tools) and MS Office for reports and documentation.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
Understanding of local building codes, standards, and safety regulations applicable in Ahmedabad and the wider region.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work cooperatively with site and office teams.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with contractors, consultants, and clients; ability to manage time and multiple tasks.
<li prior experience in construction supervision, quality control, or project coordination is an advantage.< li>
