Role Description The Electrical Engineer will work on-site in Rajasthan, India in a full-time capacity, supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical and solar power systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating electrical designs and layouts, preparing technical drawings and documentation, and assisting in system sizing and configuration for power distribution and solar installations. The role involves conducting site assessments, supporting installation and commissioning activities, and diagnosing and resolving electrical issues to ensure safe and efficient operation. The Electrical Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, coordinate with vendors and contractors, and ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. The position also requires monitoring system performance, preparing reports, and recommending improvements to enhance reliability and energy efficiency.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, including knowledge of electricity fundamentals and electrical components.
Proficiency in Electrical Design, including creating schematics, layouts, and technical documentation for power systems.
Experience with Power Systems and Power Distribution, including load calculations, protection schemes, and system integration.
Understanding of solar power systems or renewable energy projects, including PV system design and grid integration (preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Ability to interpret electrical drawings, standards, and regulations, and apply them to on-site work.
Hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, testing, or maintenance of electrical equipment is an advantage.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work safely in field and site environments.
Familiarity with relevant design tools or software (e.g., AutoCAD, electrical design or simulation tools) is beneficial.
