Role Description The Site Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Rajkot, responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities and ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and according to specifications. This role involves coordinating workers and subcontractors, monitoring site progress, checking quality of materials and workmanship, and enforcing safety protocols. The Site Supervisor will manage daily logs, reports, and basic documentation, as well as communicate regularly with project managers, engineers, and clients regarding timelines, issues, and site requirements. The position also includes arranging material deliveries, resolving minor site conflicts, and supporting compliance with local building codes and company procedures.
Qualifications
Experience supervising construction sites, preferably in residential or commercial projects.
Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, basic measurements, and quality standards.
Knowledge of workplace safety practices and ability to enforce safety rules on site.
Effective communication and leadership skills to coordinate workers, subcontractors, and vendors.
Ability to maintain daily site records, basic reports, and material tracking.
Problem-solving skills to handle on-site issues, delays, and resource constraints.
Familiarity with local building codes and regulatory requirements in Rajkot and surrounding areas.
Minimum of a relevant diploma or technical qualification in civil engineering or construction (or equivalent work experience).
Willingness to work on-site in varying weather conditions and adapt to changing project needs.
