Computational Engineer

Junior Design Engineer – GT Solve
GT Solve is looking for a Junior Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Vandalur, Chennai.
If you’re a fresher or have 1-2 year of experience and are passionate about mechanical /automotive / aerospace design, CAD, and engineering automation, we’d love to hear from you!
🔧 What You’ll Work On
Create 3D CAD models, assemblies, and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings
Work with GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and engineering design principles
Modify existing designs based on engineering requirements
Explore CAD automation and scripting to improve design workflows
Develop and test simple scripts to automate repetitive engineering tasks
⭐ What We’re Looking For
CAD – Major Focus
Strong proficiency in Siemens UG NX 12+ — highly preferred
Experience with Dassault CATIA V5/V6 / ENOVIA will also be considered
Engineering Fundamentals
Good understanding of manufacturing processes:
Casting | Molding | Sheet Metal | Machining
Basic understanding of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis
Programming & Automation
Basic Python knowledge
Familiarity with os, sys, or CAD-specific APIs is a plus
Foundational understanding of NX Open, CATIA VBA/CAA, or macro recording
🎓 Who Can Apply?
B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma (+3 years) in Mechanical, Automotive, or Aerospace Engineering
Freshers are welcome
Certification in UG NX / CATIA / GD&T is a major plus
Immediate joiners preferred
