Role Description The Full Stack AI Engineer contract role at Vachuo is a remote position focused on designing, building, and maintaining end-to-end web applications that integrate AI capabilities. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and optimizing back-end APIs and services, implementing front-end interfaces, and ensuring seamless communication between the AI models and the application stack. The role involves collaborating with product and design stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, writing clean and testable code, and reviewing code from other team members. The engineer will also monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to deployment, security, and scalability best practices across the stack.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, including designing APIs, managing data access, and integrating AI services.
Proficiency in Front-End Development and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces.
Experience in Full-Stack Development, with the ability to connect front-end and back-end components into a cohesive, production-ready system.
Hands-on experience integrating or deploying machine learning or AI models within web applications is highly beneficial.
Solid understanding of modern development practices, such as version control (e.g., Git), automated testing, CI/CD, and cloud-based deployment.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage priorities for a contract engagement, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
