About the Role:
The Sr. Fashion Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. This role involves guiding clients in selecting Gioia products, offering personalized fashion advice, and curating looks that reflect each client’s style and needs.
The consultant will manage the customer experience end-to-end, including welcome, product demonstration, fit and styling guidance, and after-sales support. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining deep product knowledge, presenting collections, driving sales, handling customer queries, and contributing to visual merchandising and store presentation. The role also includes collaborating with the team on customer outreach, feedback collection, and building long-term client relationships.
Qualifications
Strong Product Knowledge of luxury leather goods and fashion accessories, with the ability to explain features, materials, and care.
Expertise in Fashion Consulting, including styling advice, wardrobe coordination, and personalized client recommendations.
Excellent Communication skills for clear, confident, and respectful interaction with diverse customers and team members.
Proven Customer Service abilities, focused on delivering a welcoming, inclusive, and high-quality in-store experience.
Sales skills, including upselling, cross-selling, and achieving individual and store targets in a luxury retail environment.
Prior experience in high-end or luxury retail, fashion, or accessories is highly beneficial.
Ability to work on-site full time, including weekends and peak retail hours, with strong reliability and professionalism.
Proficiency in basic point-of-sale systems and comfort with digital tools for clienteling and inventory checks.
Fluency in English; additional local language skills are an advantage.
A relevant diploma or degree in Fashion, Design, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.
