Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role based in Bengaluru South. The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end delivery of digital banking projects, including planning, scoping, and managing project timelines, budgets, and resources. Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams, tracking project progress, mitigating risks, and ensuring alignment with client requirements and Modefin’s quality standards. The role involves regular stakeholder communication, status reporting, and issue resolution to keep projects on schedule and within scope. The Project Manager will also contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices, support pre-sales activities when required, and ensure smooth implementation and handover of solutions to clients.
Qualifications
Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and scope control.
Experience in stakeholder management, client communication, and cross-functional team coordination.
Familiarity with digital banking, fintech, or financial services domains, such as mobile and internet banking or omni-channel solutions.
Ability to analyze requirements, document project deliverables, and support change management activities.
Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, or hybrid frameworks).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional regional language skills are an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field; a project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CSM) is preferred.
Prior experience managing technology implementation projects in an on-site client or product company setting is beneficial.
