Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant located in Pune Division. The Accountant will manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, handling payroll processing, and contributing to financial planning and budgeting. The role also involves supporting audits, preparing tax reports, and offering financial data to aid management decision-making processes.
Qualifications
Expertise in Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and Financial Analysis
Proficiency in General Ledger Management, Accounting Software, and Financial Reconciliation
Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Tax Compliance
Strong understanding of Auditing Processes and Regulatory Standards
Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant financial tools
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CA certification preferred
Prior experience in a similar accounting role is highly desirable
