About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled professional to support our automotive pre-cut software ecosystem through vehicle scanning, CAD development, template creation, and digital tool support.
Responsibilities include adding new vehicle models, evaluating the quality and accuracy of pre-cut designs, and continuously refining and updating the designs based on customer feedback and evolving market requirements. Also, will be handling as support for all digital tools.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform and support vehicle scanning activities
2. Process scan data and develop CAD surfaces/templates
3. Create and validate 2D templates for automotive applications
4. Support sales and project teams with technical inputs
5. Coordinate with installation, design, and customer teams
Key Performance Indicators:
1. Accuracy of generated templates
2. Material utilization achieved through effective nesting
3. Reduction in template rework
4. Timely completion of assigned projects
5. % of action items closed within agreed timelines
6. Number of issues requiring management escalation due to coordination gaps.
What We're Looking For
Technical Skills
Hands-on experience in 3D vehicle scanning and digital surface development.
Strong knowledge of point cloud processing, mesh cleanup, repair, and surface reconstruction.
Proficiency in CAD and mesh processing software.
Experience with flattening software such as Rhino, Meshmixer, or equivalent platforms.
Understanding of nesting software and material optimization techniques.
Ability to create accurate templates and technical documentation.
Familiarity with automotive body structures and surface geometries.
Preferred Experience
5-8 years of experience with Mechanical / Automotive / Production Engineering (Preferred)
