About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Metal Laser Designer to create accurate, production-ready drawings for metal laser cutting at our handicrafts furniture unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of AutoCAD, a practical understanding of CNC laser cutting, and the ability to work closely with the production team to ensure smooth execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Create accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings for CNC metal laser cutting.
• Develop designs and patterns for metal sheets and components.
• Prepare CNC laser cutting-ready drawings and files.
• Understand material thickness, dimensions, cutting requirements, and tolerances.
• Modify designs according to production requirements.
• Coordinate closely with the CNC/production team to ensure smooth execution.
• Optimize designs for efficient material utilization and minimum wastage.
Key Requirements
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Practical understanding of CNC laser cutting of metal.
• Knowledge of DXF/DWG files and CNC-ready drawings.
• Understanding of metal sheet design, dimensions, and measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work closely with production teams.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidates from Jodhpur and nearby areas will be preferred.
Available to join immediately or on short notice.
Prior experience in furniture, lighting, or export-oriented manufacturing units will be an advantage.
