Your Impact
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will apply your technical expertise to complex product design, systems analysis, development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and programming activities across various systems and devices. You will play a key role in driving future technology implementations and delivering high-quality Viewing products.
What the role offers
Design, develop, and sustain Viewing products.
Write high-quality code following industry best practices.
Own the complete development lifecycle, including design, development, validation, test automation, deployment, and production support.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Collaborate with Quality Engineering to review test plans and test cases.
Provide technical guidance for software initiatives, technology standardization, and modernization.
Lead technical activities by distributing tasks, tracking progress, assessing risks, resolving problems, and reporting status.
Respond promptly and professionally to bug reports and customer escalations.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
What you need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
5+ years of enterprise product development experience.
Expertise in C++, COM, ATL, Win32, and MFC.
Strong hands-on software development experience using C++ and C.
Sound knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and loosely coupled design.
Experience writing high-performance and reusable code modules.
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience developing and supporting enterprise applications.
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of Generative AI concepts with hands-on proficiency in AI-assisted coding tools.
Good communication skills and the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Knowledge of REST or SOAP web services is desirable.
Experience with server internals, including multithreading, process models, memory management, scheduling, clustering, and load balancing, is strongly preferred.
