Role Description The Interior Site Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for overseeing interior fit-out and execution at project sites. This role includes supervising daily site activities, coordinating with design teams, contractors, and vendors, and ensuring that work is completed according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The Interior Site Engineer monitors project timelines, manages materials and resources, and conducts regular inspections to maintain safety and compliance with building codes. The position also involves resolving on-site issues, updating stakeholders on progress, and supporting the delivery of well-executed interior projects within budget and schedule.
Qualifications
Strong on-site supervision skills, including experience managing interior fit-out activities and coordinating multiple trades on location.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with designers, civil engineers, contractors, vendors, and clients.
Knowledge of quality control processes, with the ability to review work against design specifications, standards, and safety requirements.
Background in civil or structural engineering, with an understanding of construction methods, materials, and building regulations.
Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and interior drawings; familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD or similar software is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently on site.
Experience in residential or commercial interior projects in an on-site engineering capacity is preferred.
