Role Description This is a full-time SAP EPPDS Consultant role based in Bengaluru with a hybrid work model, allowing partial work from home. The consultant will configure, implement, and support SAP EPPDS solutions, focusing on advanced planning, scheduling, and optimization for client operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering business requirements, analyzing current processes, designing EPPDS solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure smooth integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems. The role involves creating functional specifications, coordinating with technical teams, conducting unit and integration testing, and supporting user training and go-live activities. The consultant will also provide ongoing production support, troubleshoot issues, and recommend enhancements to improve planning accuracy and system performance.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex planning scenarios, identify process gaps, and propose data-driven solutions.
Consulting skills with experience engaging stakeholders, leading workshops, and translating business needs into SAP EPPDS configurations.
Understanding of business processes in manufacturing, supply chain, or related domains, with ability to map them to SAP EPPDS functionality.
Experience managing and maintaining master data relevant to planning and scheduling, ensuring data quality and consistency.
Knowledge of integration between SAP EPPDS and other SAP modules (such as PP/DS, APO, S/4HANA) or external systems.
Hands-on experience with SAP implementation or support projects, preferably in planning and scheduling environments.
Effective communication and documentation skills, with ability to collaborate in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; SAP certifications in planning or EPPDS are an advantage.
Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Bengaluru, manage priorities independently, and adapt to evolving client requirements.
