Role Description The Management Information System (MIS) Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing MIS dashboards and reports that support data-driven decision-making across business functions. The MIS Analyst will gather requirements from stakeholders, analyze information flows, and translate business needs into structured reporting and information systems. Daily responsibilities include data collection, validation, and analysis; building and updating MIS dashboards; and monitoring key performance indicators to highlight trends and actionable insights. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes, ensure data quality, and enhance management information systems to support strategic and operational goals.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and generate insights that support business decisions.
Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Management Information Systems (MIS) and Information Systems to design and maintain effective reporting structures.
Candidates should possess experience with Dashboard creation and management to present data in clear, actionable formats for stakeholders.
Candidates should possess Systems Analysis skills to understand business processes, define requirements, and optimize information flows.
Candidates should have proficiency in data tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau) and strong attention to detail.
Candidates should demonstrate effective communication skills, stakeholder management abilities, and a collaborative working style.
A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience in MIS or business analytics is an advantage.
Experience working in consulting, IT services, or education-related organizations and familiarity with performance reporting frameworks will be beneficial.
