Job Description:
· Check plans, interpretation of drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations act and act as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors. Preparing Bar Bending Schedule, Preparing Work Chart Schedule. Set out, level and survey & Supervision of Construction Work. Allotting Work to Labors.
· Preparing Schedule of Material Used and Available. Plotting Line – Level on Construction Site. Checking & Arranging Equipment Before Concreting Work Starts. Oversee the selection and requisition of materials and ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications.
· Liaisoning with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project. Liaisoning with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws. communicate with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress.
· carry out day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors - this is site-specific and may not be the case on all projects. plan the work and efficiently organize the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines. oversee quality control and health and safety matters on site. Keeping Note of Each and Every Casting Work and Prepare reports as required.
· Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise. Maintain all documentation of site.
· Lead erection and commissioning of treatment plants, pump house, and pipelines. Troubleshoot technical issues during installation O&M and handover.
· Manage multidisciplinary teams (civil engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical & instrumentation, site supervisors). Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors and government authorities.
· Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and clients. Monitor project coasts, cash flow, and profitability. Ensure timely billing and payment collection. Ensure proper safety & Quality workmen ship at site. Report any accident/causality immediately once occurred at site.
Technical skills Required:
Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, drawings, specifications, and site execution.
Proficiency in setting out, levelling, surveying, and interpretation of construction drawings.
Good knowledge of Bar Bending Schedule (BBS), quantity estimation, and material planning.
Knowledge of RCC, structural, finishing, and concreting works.
