Quality Assurance Engineer

You will own quality for a fintech product. You’ll decide how we test, what we automate, and when a release is ready, working directly with the tech lead and developers.
What you’ll do
Plan and run manual and exploratory testing across web and mobile screens
Build and maintain automated tests with Playwright + TypeScript (UI and API)
Test third-party integrations, webhooks and background processes
Validate data with SQL and APIs, not just the screen
Write clear bug reports and help developers reproduce and fix issues fast
Run automated tests in CI (GitHub Actions) and own release quality checks
Must-have
3+ years in QA with real automation experience
Playwright (preferably TypeScript), or strong Selenium experience with willingness to switch
API testing (Postman or code) and working SQL
Clear written and spoken English
Nice to have
Fintech, payments or banking experience
Experience testing asynchronous flows or third-party integrations
Startup experience

Salary: ₹12–20 LPA, based on experience
