About the Role
We are looking for a technically curious and detail-oriented Technical Executive to join our tech team at RevX Hospitality. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in JavaScript, Python, web development, and data handling, along with an interest in cloud technologies and automation.
The candidate will contribute to developing responsive web interfaces, building web scraping solutions, managing databases, and supporting application deployment on AWS. This role offers an opportunity to work on real-world technical projects, improve development skills, and contribute to scalable technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Frontend Development: Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
Web Scraping & Automation: Build and maintain Python-based web scraping and crawling scripts to collect, process, and organize data from websites.
Database Management: Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, to store, retrieve, and manage data efficiently.
API Integration: Integrate scraped data with backend systems and frontend applications using APIs.
Cloud Infrastructure: Assist in deploying, monitoring, and managing applications and data pipelines on AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and IAM.
Data Processing: Clean, validate, structure, and organize collected data to maintain accuracy and consistency.
Debugging & Optimization: Identify technical issues, troubleshoot errors, and improve application performance and reliability.
Version Control: Use Git and GitHub/GitLab for code management, collaboration, and project tracking.
Documentation & Collaboration: Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with team members to deliver projects on time.
Required Skills
Basic to strong understanding of Python, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Knowledge of frontend development and responsive web design.
Familiarity with web scraping tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Puppeteer, or Cheerio.
Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries.
Familiarity with REST APIs and data integration.
Basic knowledge of AWS cloud services.
Understanding of Git and GitHub.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
Willingness to learn new technologies and work on practical development tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, an M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent qualification is also preferred.
Candidates with relevant academic projects, internships, or personal projects in web development, Python automation, or data engineering are encouraged to apply.
