About the role
We are looking for a Front-End Engineer to help build and scale intuitive, high-performance user experiences. You will work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Back End Engineers, and other stakeholders to create seamless user journeys and deliver customer-facing features that have a direct impact on the product.
You will take ownership of front-end architecture, contribute to design system evolution, and help ensure our applications remain accessible, performant, and maintainable as we grow.
Neo is an internal AI platform for Capgemini employees that help to find relevant information in knowledge bases, perform specific actions in internal systems (for example requesting a day off) or solving business problems via connecting to custom programming interfaces (APIs). The mission is to increase professional efficiency by having a centralized place where users can solve their problems using AI.

In this role you will play a key role in:
• Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React and TypeScript, delivering high-quality, scalable, and well-tested solutions.
• Partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to transform ideas into intuitive, accessible, and engaging user experiences.
• Build and maintain reusable UI components and contribute to the evolution of a scalable design system that ensures consistency across products.
• Optimize front end performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and overall usability while maintaining high standards through testing, code reviews, and observability practices.
• Collaborate with Back End Engineers to integrate APIs, contribute to technical decision-making, and continuously improve development workflows, tooling, and engineering best practices.
Your Profile
• 3+ years of experience building modern web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, with strong front-end engineering practices and expertise in React to create scalable, high-performance user interfaces.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, browser compatibility, and accessibility (WCAG) standards.
• Experience integrating REST and GraphQL APIs, along with state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, or React Query.
• Proven ability to work in agile product teams, with a focus on code quality through testing frameworks such as Jest, Vitest, Cypress, or Playwright, and web performance optimization.
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
The tech stack the role will come across is the following; React.JS (Client-side Rendering), TailwindCSS, TypeScript, Storybook, Back-end Express.JS, Database: Firestore, AI back-end: Python and Cloud: GCP
Bonus:
• Familiarity with Figma and close designer collaboration.
• Experience building or maintaining design systems.
• Knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with analytics and experimentation tools.
• Exposure to AI-powered products or SaaS environments.
