Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP RAR Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting configuration, implementation, integration, and troubleshooting. The candidate should have hands-on experience with SAP SD-RAR integration, revenue recognition processes, and compliance with IFRS 15 and ASC 606 accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare functional design specifications for SAP RAR migration and implementation activities.
Configure and troubleshoot SAP RAR, including subscription billing flows and cancellation logic.
Implement end-to-end SAP RAR solutions and integrate RAR with SAP SD, order management, and other systems.
Manage SD-RAR integration, including RAI Monitor, fulfillment mapping, and event type assignment.
Troubleshoot SDOI/SDII errors, daily job failures, and parallel job terminations.
Validate Performance Obligation (POB) mapping and accounting principles.
Execute ABC validation steps involving RAI items, POB status, and posting tables to ensure contract completeness.
Configure and validate Standalone Selling Price (SSP) calculations and allocation logic, including zero-value SSP items and revenue distribution.
Work with BRF+ applications, business rules, and decision tables.
Manage revenue schedules, monitor postings, and reconcile revenue with contract terms and accounting periods.
Prepare functional specifications and coordinate development activities.
Execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), support defect resolution, and manage cutover activities.
Monitor SAP OSS Notes, system updates, and best practices to improve revenue recognition processes.
Collaborate with SAP SD, technical, finance, and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate revenue accounting.
Mandatory Skills
6 8 years of relevant SAP experience, with strong hands-on SAP RAR expertise.
SAP RAR configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
SAP SD-RAR integration, including RAI Monitor, fulfillment mapping, and event type assignment.
Strong knowledge of IFRS 15 and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
Experience with Performance Obligation (POB) mapping and SSP calculation/allocation.
Expertise in SDOI/SDII error handling, job monitoring, and revenue posting validation.
Knowledge of BRF+ rules and decision tables.
Experience in functional design specifications, SIT, UAT, and cutover activities.
Preferred Skills
SAP RAR certification.
Experience in end-to-end SAP RAR implementation and migration.
Knowledge of subscription billing, cancellation processing, and order management integration.
