Superintendent

I'm working with a growing general contractor looking to add an experienced Superintendent to their Arizona team. This is a company built by industry veterans — leadership with deep roots at firms like Walsh and Weitz — and backed by an ESOP structure that means employees genuinely share in the company's success. They're currently sitting on a $250M project pipeline with plans to grow to $1B in the coming years, so there's real long-term stability and room to grow with them.
We're seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on light industrial projects in Arizona — the bread-and-butter work is tilt-up construction, including FedEx distribution facilities and similar large-footprint warehouse/DC projects.
Location: Yuma, AZ (Travelling position)
Project Type: Light Industrial (Tilt-Up Warehouses & Distribution Centers)
What You'll Do:
Oversee day-to-day field operations for ground-up tilt-up warehouse and distribution center projects
Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics to keep projects on time and on budget
Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
Partner closely with Project Managers on scheduling, RFIs, and quality control
Conduct daily site walks, progress reporting, and punch list management
Manage manpower, material deliveries, and equipment on-site
What We're Looking For:
10+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a General Contractor
Proven experience with light industrial, tilt-up construction — warehouses, distribution/fulfillment centers, or similar large-footprint facilities
OSHA 30 certification preferred
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with scheduling software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)
